Jiangjun Hall Introduction

Jiangjun Hall is the residence of Lu Chengjin, who was awarded the title of Military General of Valor during the late Qing Dynasty. Lu Chengjin, styled Weili and known by the pseudonym Fenting, was born in the second year of the Daoguang period and died in the twentieth year of the Guangxu period. He grew up in poverty and later joined the military, where he achieved success by helping to combat pirates at sea, quickly receiving promotions. During the Xianfeng and Tongzhi periods, Chengjin participated in the suppression of the Small Knife Society bandits who had occupied Xiamen, fighting fiercely at Zhonggang and Jinguwei, completely destroying the bandit ships. He quickly advanced to recapture Xiamen and search for remaining rebels, accumulating countless merits and eventually becoming the commander of the rear camp, achieving remarkable accomplishments.
