Jiangjun Hall Introduction
Jiangjun Hall is the residence of Lu Chengjin, who was honored as a general of military significance during the late Qing Dynasty. Lu Chengjin, also known by his courtesy name Weili and his nickname Fenting, was born in the second year of the Daoguang era and died in the twentieth year of the Guangxu era. He grew up in poverty and later joined the military, where he achieved notable success in combating pirates at sea. During the Xianfeng and Tongzhi eras, Chengjin first participated in suppressing the small knife society bandits who invaded Xiamen, engaging in fierce battles at Zhonggang and Jinguimei, where he destroyed nearly all the bandit ships. He quickly proceeded to recapture Xiamen and hunt down the remaining followers, accumulating significant military achievements along the way.
