Juguang Tower Introduction
Facing the beautiful scenery of Jincheng and backed by the Fenglin Mountain Range, a visit to Kinmen would not be complete without climbing the Juguang Tower to get a panoramic view of Kinmen! As a spiritual symbol of Kinmen, Juguang Tower uniquely combines traditional Chinese architectural methods with a modern structure. Built in 1952, it commemorates the heroic deeds of soldiers during various battles in Kinmen. The tower has three floors, each featuring different exhibition themes, with the most famous being General Hu Lien's Order of the Blue Sky and White Sun. From 1959 to 1964, Juguang Tower was used as the theme for stamps by the Republic of China Postal Service four times, making it a significant landmark in Kinmen, alongside the inscribed "Never Forget the Past."
