Juguang Tower Introduction
Facing the beautiful scenery of Jincheng and backed by the Fenglian Mountain range, a visit to Kinmen is not complete without climbing Ju Guang Tower to gaze out at the landscapes of Kinmen! As a spiritual symbol of Kinmen, Ju Guang Tower is uniquely constructed, combining traditional Chinese architectural styles with a modern building base, creating a distinctive architectural aesthetic. This building was completed in 1952 to honor the brave soldiers in various battles on Kinmen. Standing three stories tall, each floor features different exhibition themes, with the most famous being General Hu Lian's Order of Blue Sky and White Sun. From 1959 to 1964, Ju Guang Tower was featured four times as a theme for stamps issued by the Republic of China (ROC) Postal Bureau, sending mail across the globe, and became a famous landmark in the war-torn Kinmen, just like the "Do Not Forget in Ju" monument.
