Juguang Tower is a spiritual symbol of Kinmen, built using traditional Chinese architectural methods, placing a traditional city tower atop a modern architectural base, creating a unique architectural aesthetic. This building was constructed in 1952 to honor the brave soldiers in various battles in Kinmen. It stands three stories tall, with each floor featuring a different exhibition theme, the most famous of which is General Hu Lian's Order of the Blue Sky and White Sun. From 1959 to 1964, Juguang Tower was featured four times as a theme for postage stamps by the Republic of China Post, with mail reaching both domestic and international destinations, becoming a notable landmark in the wartime Kinmen, just like the inscription "Do not forget Juguang."
