Shibi Village Introduction
Shibi in Atayal language means cliff. The geological layers are composed of alternating gravel and shale, with the river valley following the softer shale layers to form a gorge, resulting in the stunning natural beauty of the cliffs that give the area its name. Due to severe damage caused by typhoons and for safety reasons, residents have gradually relocated to the Donghe Village, which is a small Atayal tribe. Notable tourist attractions include: Bilin Stream Waterfall, Shimen Gorge, and Laura Gorge. Visitors can experience the rushing water and the thunderous sound of the waterfall just a few meters away, making it a spectacular sight.
