Ronghu Lake Introduction
This artificial lake was formed by damming the Jinsa Creek and was built in 1972, making it one of the five major lakes in Kinmen. The lakeside is lined with windbreak trees and features small pavilions and arch bridges, among which the Dongmei Pavilion, dedicated to the philosophical master Fang Dongmei, and the Huxiao Bridge spanning the center of the lake are the most notable. On the southern bank, there is a famous Fengshui Master statue with a big-eyed, wide-mouthed appearance, which has a certain quirky charm.
