Ronghu Lake Introduction
This is an artificial lake created by intercepting the Jinsha River, built in 1972, and is one of the five major lakes in Kinmen. The lakeside is adorned with windbreak forests, dotted with pavilions and arches, among which the Dongmei Pavilion, commemorating the philosopher Fang Dongmei, and the Huxiao Bridge that spans the center of the lake, are the most prominent. On the southern bank of the lake, there is a famous Wind Lion God statue, characterized by its big eyes and wide mouth, which is quite whimsical.
