Jinsha Reservoir is one of the habitats for wintering Anatidae in Kinmen. Each winter, a large number of birds such as Red-necked Duck, Red-breasted Merganser, Little Grebe, and Mandarin Duck inhabit this area, along with dozens of Bean Geese passing through.
