Tai An Temple Introduction
Main Deity: The Holy Lord Enzhu Xianju, also known as Yan Cuo. The residents are primarily of the Yan and Lu surnames, with Lu Ruoteng, who served as the Minister of the Ministry of War in the late Ming Dynasty, being a notable individual from Xianju. The Tai'an Temple was originally built in the Ming Dynasty, and the old records of Kinmen mention that Xianju has a shrine for the Vice Minister, dedicated to the late Ming Vice Minister Wang Zhongxiao, along with other figures from the late Ming dynasty such as Zeng Ying, Shen Chenquan, Xu Jicheng, Gu Chaojian, Xu Fuyuan, and Guo Zhenyi, which is why it is also referred to as the Seven Worthies Temple. The present-day Tai'an Temple worships the Holy Lord Enzhu as the deity of the locality, along with other deities such as Guangze Zunwang, Baosheng Dadi, Chi Fu, King Jinfu, Six Surnames God, and Lord Su.
