Ouyang Zhongyuan Mansion Introduction
The Western-style building in Oucuo Village is not only beautiful but also the first Western-style building in Kinmen. The founder, Ouyang Chongyuan, made a fortune while doing business in Singapore and Malaysia, and sent money back to his hometown in Kinmen to construct this building. Completed in 1918, this luxurious Western-style building was praised at the time as the "Oucuo Building" and is also considered a promoter of the trend of overseas Chinese returning to build Western-style houses in their hometowns.
