Ouyang Zhongyuan Ocean Building Introduction
The洋樓 located in the Oucuo settlement is not only beautiful but also the first洋樓 in Kinmen. The founder, Ouyang Zhongyuan, was engaged in business in Singapore and Malaysia, and after earning a significant amount of money, he sent it back to his hometown in Kinmen to build this building. Completed in 1918, this luxurious洋樓 was praised at the time as the "Oucuo Building" and was also seen as a catalyst for promoting the trend of overseas Chinese returning to build洋樓.
