Hsieh Yong-Nan Brothers Building Introduction
This Western-style building was constructed by the Xue Yongnan brothers who became wealthy from trading in the Philippines during the Guangxu period of the Qing dynasty. The traditional layout consists of one hall and four rooms per floor, featuring continuous arched columns, and even includes a lookout tower used for guarding, all of which convey a sense of antiquity. If you climb to the second floor, you can enjoy the view of the Zhushan settlement centered around the ancestral hall from the outside corridor.
