Kinmen Shangyi Airport Introduction
Kinmen Airport is located at the southern central end of Kinmen, approximately 6 kilometers from the two major cities, Jincheng and Shanhai. It is also known as "Shangyi Airport" because it is situated in Shangyi Village of Jincheng Township. Currently, Kinmen Airport operates flights by two airlines, Uni Air and TransAsia Airways, serving six routes to Taipei, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Magong. With nearly 90 takeoffs and landings each day, the average passenger volume has exceeded 2.3 million in recent years, significantly contributing to the tourism development and transportation in the Kinmen area. Additionally, Kinmen Airport serves as an important transit point for the "Mini Three Links" between Xiamen and Quanzhou, with airlines offering bundled tickets for the Mini Three Links, as well as providing round-trip shuttle and luggage transportation services between Kinmen Airport and Shuitou Pier.
