Kinmen Shangyi Airport Introduction
Kinmen Airport is located at the southern central end of Kinmen, approximately 6 kilometers from the two major cities of Jincheng and Shanhai. Situated in the Shangyi neighborhood of Jincheng Township, it is also known as "Shangyi Airport." Currently, Kinmen Airport is served by two airlines, Uni Air and Mandarin Airlines, operating flights to six destinations: Taipei, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Magong, with nearly 90 takeoffs and landings a day. In recent years, the average passenger volume has exceeded 2.3 million people, significantly contributing to tourism development and transportation in the Kinmen area. Additionally, Kinmen Airport serves as an important transit point for the "Mini Three Links" connecting to Xiamen and Quanzhou, with various airlines offering package tickets and providing round-trip shuttle services and luggage transportation between Kinmen Airport and Shuitou Harbor.
