Kinmen Shangyi Airport Introduction
Kinmen Airport is located at the southern central end of Kinmen, approximately 6 kilometers from the two major cities of Jincheng and Shanwai. It is also known as "Shangyi Airport," as it is situated in Shangyi Village, Jinhu Township. Currently, Kinmen Airport is served by two airlines, Uni Air and Mandarin Airlines, offering flights to six destinations: Taipei, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Magong. There are nearly 90 takeoffs and landings each day, and in recent years, the average passenger volume has exceeded 2.3 million people, significantly contributing to the tourism development and transportation in the Kinmen area. Additionally, Kinmen Airport is an important transfer point for the Three Small Links, connecting to Xiamen and Quanzhou. Various airlines offer package tickets for the Three Small Links and provide round-trip shuttle services and luggage transportation from Kinmen Airport to Shuïtou Pier.
