Kinmen Shangyi Airport Introduction
Kinmen Airport is located at the southern end of central Kinmen, approximately 6 kilometers from the two main cities, Jincheng and Shanhua. It is situated in Shangyi Village, Jinhu Township, and is also known as "Shangyi Airport." Currently, Kinmen Airport is served by two airlines, UNI Air and TransAsia Airways, offering six routes to Taipei, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Magong. There are nearly 90 takeoffs and landings each day, with an average passenger volume exceeding 2.3 million people in recent years, significantly contributing to the tourism development and transportation in the Kinmen area. Additionally, Kinmen Airport serves as an important transit point for the "mini-three-links" to Xiamen and Quanzhou, with various airlines offering package deals for the mini-three-links and providing round-trip shuttle and baggage handling services between Kinmen Airport and Shuitou Pier.
