The name "Angus" in Hakka translates to "delicious," while "An" emphasizes the sentiment, meaning "really very delicious." In addition to highlighting the tastiness of the dishes, Angus also strictly ensures food safety, sourcing most ingredients from local small-scale farmers. Besides perfecting simple foods, Angus constantly pushes itself to innovate and develop new dishes, from the "Peanut Butter Beef Burger," which uses the local specialty peanut butter from Taoyuan, to the creative twist noodles inspired by traditional Hakka gnocchi. Each dish is a must-try for food connoisseurs. Angus won the Excellent Gold Medal at the 2015 Taoyuan Hakka Creative Cuisine Competition and has been featured in various media reports.
