"An Ge Si" means delicious in Hakka, and "An" emphasizes the tone, representing "really very delicious." In addition to focusing on the deliciousness of the dishes, An Ge Si also strictly monitors food safety, with most ingredients sourced from local small farmers. Besides striving to perfect simple foods, An Ge Si continually pushes itself to innovate and develop new dishes, from using Taoyuan's local specialty Wu Hui peanut butter for the "Peanut Butter Beef Burger" to creatively inspired twisted noodles based on traditional Hakka dumplings. Every dish is a favorite among gourmets. It won the Excellent Gold Medal at the 2015 Taoyuan Hakka Creative Cuisine Competition and has been featured in various media reports.
