Upon entering Chuanxiang Restaurant located on Yiyong Street in Bade District, the aroma of glutinous rice wafts through the air, making one feel as if they’ve returned to their grandmother's traditional courtyard kitchen. The owner hopes to use nostalgic street snacks to carry on the beautiful flavors of memory. In today's Taiwan, eating is quite convenient, with a snack stall on the left and a noodle shop on the right upon opening the door. However, it’s not so easy to find good dishes made with traditional craftsmanship. Chuanxiang Restaurant is different from ordinary snack and noodle shops, focusing on the sticky rice sausage that those born in the 1950s and 1960s would have enjoyed while watching plays at the temple, allowing everyone to revisit their youthful days through food.
