The owner mentioned that the decor has been updated multiple times over the past twenty years, but the only unchanged furniture is the large cabinet on the back wall, which was handmade by the original owner when the restaurant was first established. This reflects Mr. Hsu Chen-Piao's gratitude and filial piety for his father's hard work in starting the business. Dining here, you can feel the warmth and comfort of home through the friendly hospitality of the owner and his wife. The restaurant offers traditional Hakka delicacies such as traditional Hakka free-range chicken (which the celebrity Hu Gua particularly loves), ginger-sliced intestines, and innovative perilla eggplant, all at affordable prices with great value (Hakka rice noodles for just NT$40 is an incredible deal), along with a complimentary yet delicious dessert - brown sugar steamed cake, which is an additional surprise for foodies.
