The interior is decorated in a clean and simple style, but what leaves a deep impression are the photos of many famous artists dining here. The owner mentioned that the restaurant's decor has been updated several times over the past two decades, but the only unchanged piece of furniture is the large cabinet on the back wall, which was handmade by the original owner when starting the business. This reflects Mr. Hsu's gratitude and filial piety towards his father’s hard work in starting the restaurant. Dining here, you can feel the warmth and comfort of home through the friendly hospitality of the owner and his wife. The restaurant offers traditional Hakka delicacies such as traditional Hakka free-range chicken (which is the favorite of artist Hu Gua), ginger-sliced intestines, and innovative dishes like perilla eggplant, all at economical and value-for-money prices (the Hakka rice noodles at 40 TWD per plate are indeed a great value). Additionally, the complimentary yet delicious dessert – brown sugar steamed cake – is another delightful surprise for food enthusiasts.
