The owner mentioned that over the past twenty years, the decor of the restaurant has been updated multiple times, while the only piece of furniture that remains unchanged is the large bookshelf on the back wall, handcrafted by the original owner when the restaurant first opened. This clearly reflects Mr. Hsu Chen-piao's appreciation for his father's hard work in starting the business and his filial piety. When dining here, you can feel the warmth and comfort of home from the friendly hospitality of the owner and his wife. The restaurant offers traditional Hakka delicacies, such as traditional Hakka free-range chicken (which the owner mentioned is a favorite of celebrity Hu Gua), ginger intestine, as well as innovative dishes like perilla eggplant, all at economical prices (the Hakka rice noodles at 40 TWD per plate are truly a delicious bargain). Additionally, the complimentary and delectable dessert—brown sugar cake—serves as another delightful surprise for food lovers.
