Sanyi Wood Sculpture Museum Introduction
The Sanyi Wood Sculpture Museum is the only public museum in Taiwan dedicated to wood carving, opened on April 9, 1995. It primarily collects and displays both domestic and international wood carving artworks. In May 2003, an expansion of the second building was completed, adding spaces for wood carving education, exhibitions, collections, and a library. The unique architectural design won the first prize in Taiwan's architectural awards that year. With its rich collection and facilities, the Sanyi Wood Sculpture Museum officially entered a new era, becoming an international wood carving professional museum. The exhibition space includes the first building's first floor, second floor, basement, and the second building's second, third, and fourth floors.
