Hehuo Restaurant Introduction
Hehuo Dining Hall was established by a group of local youths from Lugang and partners of the Bao-Lu movement. The name "Hehuo" (禾火) is a homophone for "partnership" and embodies the idea of "cooking" (禾) with fire. The combination of "禾" and "火" also embodies the essence of "autumn," representing the energy that the annual Autumn Arts Festival brings to the community. Beyond the annual festival atmosphere, it aims to integrate the curatorial concept of a "communal living" into the daily lives of the local residents. In Lugang, we "live together," and at the dining hall, we "enjoy meals together." Through our daily dining experiences, we savor the warmth and local connections cultivated by the Autumn Arts Festival over the years.
