Hehuo Dining Hall Introduction
Hehuo Restaurant was established by a group of local youths from Lukang and partners involved in the Bao Lu movement. The name "Hehuo" sounds similar to "partnership" and embodies the idea of "cooking food" (禾). The combination of the characters for "禾" and "火" symbolizes "autumn," reflecting the energy that the annual Autumn Arts Festival brings to the local community. Beyond the festive atmosphere created by the annual celebration, the aim is to integrate the curatorial concept of a "community of life" into the daily lives of the locals. Living together in Lukang and dining at "Hehuo Restaurant," through daily experiences, we savor the warmth and local flavors cultivated by the efforts of this Autumn festival in Lukang over the years.
