Cao Tun Meatballs, a century-old tradition! Located on Zhongzheng Road in Caotun, "Meatball Li" has been established for nearly a hundred years since its founding in the early days of the Republic of China. Initially a snack stall in the old Caotun market, it relocated to its current site due to market renovations. Known for its local flavor and delightful texture, it was early on referred to as "Cao Tun Meatballs." The biggest feature of Meatball Li's meatballs is their large size and aromatic flavor. With thin skin and ample filling, they are handmade daily. The owner places great emphasis on quality, with strictly selected ingredients complemented by many exclusive sweet sauces and condiments, enhancing the flavor even more. In addition to the signature meatballs, the shop also offers a variety of soups, zongzi (meat-stuffed rice dumplings), sweet dumplings, and bowl rice cakes. For just a few dozen NT dollars, you can enjoy a satisfying meal with a bowl of soup and one meatball or bowl rice cake.
