Hsiang Yi Rice Noodles Introduction
Founded in 1982, Tianmao Co., Ltd. changed its name to Xiangyi Food Co., Ltd. in January 2003, primarily producing rice noodles. The operators, Lin Ming-hsing and his wife, Ms. Li Qiu-xia, worked hard to establish the rice noodle factory. Ms. Li Qiu-xia, committed to agricultural transformation, continuously researched and developed new products under the guidance of the rice production and marketing class of the Kouhu Township Farmers' Association, and in 1994, she was awarded the national "Shennong Award" for Outstanding Agricultural Women. Due to their top-notch production techniques and strict quality control, they gained popularity among the Japanese market, leading to exports to Japan and creating more job opportunities for local women. To promote the development of leisure tourism in the industry, they have combined with the Jinhu Leisure Agriculture Area Visitor Center to plan a series of industrial experience activities, offering hands-on educational activities for primary and secondary schools, such as DIY rice noodle creative cooking.
