Hsiang Yi Rice Noodles Introduction
Founded in 1982, Tianmao Co., Ltd. Changlong Factory was renamed Xiangyi Food Co., Ltd. in January 2003, primarily producing rice noodles. The owners, Lin Ming-hsing and his wife Ms. Li Qiu-xia, worked tirelessly to establish the rice noodle factory. Ms. Li Qiu-xia, committed to agricultural transformation, continuously researched and developed new products under the guidance of the rice production and marketing class of the Kouhu Township Agricultural Association, earning the National Top Ten Outstanding Farming Women award (Shennong Award) in 1994. Due to its excellent production technology and strict quality control, the products gained popularity among the Japanese, leading to exports to the Japanese market and creating more job opportunities for local women. To promote the development of leisure tourism in the industry, a series of experiential activities have been planned in conjunction with the Jinhu Leisure Agricultural Area visitor center, offering educational field trips for elementary and middle schools, such as DIY handmade rice noodle creative cooking. Reservations are required in advance.
