Established in 1982, Tianmao Co., Ltd. Chenglong Factory was renamed Xiangyi Food Co., Ltd. in January 2003, primarily producing rice noodles. The owner, Lin Ming-Hsing, and his wife, Ms. Li Qiuxia, worked hard to create the rice noodle factory. Ms. Li Qiuxia, committed to agricultural transformation, continually researched and developed new products under the guidance of the Kouhu Township Farmers' Association's rice production and marketing class, and in 1994, she received the national honor of being one of the Top Ten Outstanding Rural Women (Shennong Award). Due to their top-notch production techniques and strict quality control, they gained popularity among the Japanese, leading to the export of their products to the Japanese market and creating more job opportunities for local women. To promote the development of industrial leisure tourism, a series of industry experience activities have been planned in conjunction with the Jinhu Leisure Agriculture Area Visitor Center, providing outdoor teaching activities for elementary and middle schools, such as DIY handmade rice noodle creative cooking.
