Jinhu Leisure Agricultural Area Introduction
Bicycle Tour in Jinhohu: Experience the Diverse Fishing Village Culture. The Jinhohu Leisure Agricultural Area is situated on both sides of Provincial Highway 17, centered around the local religious site, Wansan Temple, with an extension outward that integrates the agricultural and fishery specialties, scenic resources, ecological resources, and cultural resources of Kouhu Township into a planned route. The park features bicycle paths for recreational use, rich natural scenery, and diverse regional industries. Starting from Wansan Temple in Jinhohu, the route passes the Clam-Themed Exhibition Hall, then proceeds to the Jinhohu Coastal Recreation Area, following the coastal bicycle paths and waterfront walkways of Kouhu Township, linking to Provincial Highway 17 and County Road 164, reaching the Minghu Sea Fishing Area, traditional food shops, and Hsiangyi Foods, before traveling along Yunlin County Road 142, with the final destination back at Wansan Temple. Along the way, in addition to enjoying coastal and wetland landscapes, visitors can participate in various industrial activities such as riding rubber rafts in fish ponds, clam digging and laundry, clam DIY, grilling mullet roe with 58-degree sorghum liquor, handmade rice noodle DIY, and the joys of fishing at Minghu, making this a leisure agricultural and fishing area distinct from mountainous and plain landscapes.
