Zheng Mama's Handmade Nougat is managed by Huang Shu-hui, who originally served as a train service attendant on the Chiayi Express from the Railway Catering Service Institute's Class 35. After retirement, she pursued her interest in making handmade nougat. She insists on creating healthy candies by using the best ingredients to replace market spices, colorants, and preservatives. Her commitment to low sugar and low fat standards has garnered enthusiastic support from consumers. Zheng Mama's Handmade Nougat was selected as an iconic souvenir in Pingtung County from 2008-2009 and was recognized as one of Taiwan's Top 100 Tourist Products in 2010.
