Zheng Mama Handmade Nougat Introduction
Zheng Mama's Handmade Nougat is run by Huang Shuhui, who was originally a service attendant on the Tze-Chiang Limited Express of the Taiwan Railway's 35th Class A. After retirement, she pursued her passion for making handmade nougat. She insists on creating healthy confections and is committed to using the best ingredients, avoiding market-standard additives, colorings, and preservatives. Her self-imposed standards of low sugar and low fat have garnered enthusiastic support from a wide array of consumers. Zheng Mama's Handmade Nougat was selected as a classic souvenir in Pingtung County in 2008-2009 and as one of Taiwan's top 100 specialty products in 2010.
