Magong Food Factory was established in the 57th year of the Republic of China (1968), and its predecessor was Zhenyu Food Company. All its products have a good reputation, especially the Magong brown sugar cake and Magong red bean cake. It has won the "Gold Medal Award" at the National Excellent Manufacturers Autumn Festival Food Evaluation Meeting and the "21st Century Prominent Commodity" award.
