One of the three major temples in Magong City, Penghu, established during the Qing Dynasty, is dedicated to Zhenwu Dadi. After the restoration, it also enshrined Wang Ye of the Duzhayan and has him serve concurrently as a secondary deity in the temple. Additionally, Guanyin Bodhisattva is worshipped on the right side of the altar for the devout followers to pay their respects.

Dongjia Beiji Temple (Qiming) Introduction

Main Deity: Zhenwu Da Di Festival Date: 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month Located in Magong City, Penghu, one of the three major temples of Dajia Tou, established during the Qing Dynasty, primarily venerates Zhenwu Da Di. After the restoration, it also honors the Lord Wang of the Censorate, who serves as a secondary deity within the temple, and to the right of the altar is Guanyin Bodhisattva for devotees to worship. The Beiji Hall is rich in traditional Chinese architectural art, with exquisite and lively carvings and calligraphy on the painted and gilded columns, as well as detailed representations of figures, birds, beasts, and architectural features such as dougong, curved beams, and eaves. It has been registered by the county government as a historical building.
