Magong Dongjia Beiji Temple (Qiming) Introduction
The main deity worshipped: Zhenwu the Great Emperor Festival date: The third day of the third lunar month One of the three major temples in Magong City, Penghu, it was established during the Qing Dynasty, primarily dedicated to Zhenwu the Great Emperor. After the restoration, it also worships Wang Ye from the Censorate's Warm Mansion, who sits in the temple as an auxiliary deity, alongside the worship of Guanyin Bodhisattva on the right side of the altar, allowing faithful devotees to pay their respects. The Beijidian is filled with traditional Chinese architectural art; the colorful paintings, calligraphy on the gilded pillars, and intricately carved figures, birds, and beasts, along with dougong brackets, curved beams, and the eaves of the pavilion, are all extremely precious, and the county government has registered it as a historical building.
