One of the three major temples in Magong City, Penghu, it was established during the Qing Dynasty. The main deity worshipped is Zhenwu Emperor, and after the restoration, the Duke Wang of the Censorate is also revered in the temple, serving as an auxiliary deity. Guanyin Bodhisattva is worshipped on the right side of the altar for the faithful to pay their respects.

Magong Dongjia Beijidian (Qiming) Introduction

Main Deity: Zhenwu Dadi Festival Date: Third day of the third lunar month One of the three major temples in Magong City, Penghu, established during the Qing Dynasty, primarily dedicated to Zhenwu Dadi. After the restoration, it also worships Wang Ye of the Duzhiyuan, who serves as a secondary deity in the temple. Additionally, Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is enshrined on the right side of the altar for the devout to pay their respects. The Beijie Hall is rich in traditional Chinese architectural art, featuring intricate decorations, calligraphy on the golden-studded pillars, and vivid sculptures of figures, birds, beasts, as well as dougong brackets, curved beams, and eaves pavilions, all of which are extremely valuable and have been registered as a historical building by the county government.
