One of the three major temples in Magong City, Penghu, founded during the Qing Dynasty, dedicated to Zhenwu Da Di. After the restoration, it also enshrined Wang Ye of the Censorate as a secondary deity in the temple, and Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is worshipped on the right side of the altar for devotees to pray to.

Dongjia North Polar Temple (Qiming) Introduction

Main Deity: Zhenwu Emperor Festival Date: March 3rd of the Lunar Calendar Located in Magong City, Penghu, one of the three major temples of Dajia Head Temple, it was established during the Qing Dynasty. The main deity is Zhenwu Emperor, and after the recovery, it also worships the Wang Ye of the Judicial Yuan, who serves as an auxiliary deity in the temple. To the right of the altar, Guanyin Bodhisattva is enshrined for devotees to pray. The Beijidian Temple is filled with traditional Chinese architectural art, with precious details such as colorful paintings, calligraphy on gilded columns, as well as exquisite carvings of figures, birds, and beasts, including dougong brackets, curved beams, and eaves pavilions. The county government has registered it as a historic building.
