Fude Temple Introduction
Main deity worshipped: Caishen (God of Wealth) Festival date: 2nd day of the 2nd lunar month In the 56th year of the Qianlong era, the magistrate of Penghu initiated the construction of this shrine and relocated it, commissioning the carving of two additional statues for worship. In the Jiaqing era, Fude Furen (Lady of Wealth) was added to the worship, and until the 9th year of the Republic of China, the original Caishen was removed by the Japanese; thus, the Caishen was invited to be worshipped together up till now.
