Lane 181, Guohua Street, Chiayi City, commonly known as "Fulu Lane," was the route for candidates traveling from Chiayi to Tainan City during the Qing Dynasty's Tongzhi era. The "Old House Revitalization Project" aims to repair and repurpose an old house in this lane, transforming it into "Bingjiang Camp." This old house is 43 years old and is a mix of wooden and reinforced concrete construction. The stairs and the second-floor flooring are wooden, and it features intricately carved iron windows that exude a sense of nostalgia. After leasing the property, skilled craftsmen were invited to carry out repairs, dismantling wooden doors and iron floral windows to be used as wall art installations, preserving the ambiance of a bygone era.
