Central Fountain Pool Introduction
The landmark of Chiayi people's spirit - The colorful Central Fountain was built in 1970 during the mayoral term of Ms. Hsu Shih-Hsien. The fountain features fourteen different variations, cycling approximately every fifteen minutes, with water reaching heights of up to twenty meters. Particularly stunning at night, the fountain displays a vibrant and diverse array of colors. Nowadays, it has become a significant feature of the Central Fountain, as candidates gather with supporters here for rallies one day before elections, cementing its status as a landmark embodying the spirit of the people of Chiayi.
