Crispy Dou Dou Donut Introduction

Crispy Dou Dou Donuts "Dou Dou" means "comfort toy" in French. Stumbling through life, childlike innocence is like the afternoon sun; as long as there is a translucent portal, it can illuminate a dark room. The "Crispy Dou Dou Donuts," which is quietly located near the cultural district of Chiayi in a building that has been transformed from an eighty-year-old house, is such a place. The owner, Dinosaur, learned the craft from his parents, who used to sell crispy donuts in Wanhua, Taipei, before retiring and passing on their skills to him. Combining his interest in nostalgic old things, Dinosaur opened his shop in this old building on Zhongyi Street. In addition to various flavored crispy donuts, he also offers tea, smoothies, carbonated drinks, and coffee, with prices ranging from NT$50 to NT$100, making it very approachable. "Every adult was once a child." Look! Here is a Doraemon shaved ice machine, and over there is a Sato Elephant; on the table, there’s a complete set of comic books... Amidst the disturbances of life, it’s comforting to have this old house in Chiayi guard our childlike spirit, just like Peter Pan's Neverland. When you hold a donut surrounded by many childhood toys, perhaps you can return to a pure childhood and forget your worries.
