San Francisco Governor's Hot Spring Hotel Introduction
The Governor's Hot Spring in San Francisco is a well-known large-scale hot spring resort located in the Jinshan District. The name "Governor" comes from the fact that during the Japanese colonial period, the Taiwan Governor's Office allocated 30,000 yen in May of Showa 13 to build this hot spring, which later led to its naming as "San Francisco Governor's Hot Spring." The main building of the hot spring resort was constructed by renovating the old new guesthouse and resembles a classic Western-style villa. The second floor features a dining area where guests can enjoy delicious food, decorated in a refreshing marine style. The cuisine at the hot spring resort mainly focuses on freshly caught seafood sets, presenting exquisite Jinshan seafood right before your eyes. The most famous dish, the "Jin Duo Crab Hot Pot," is a highly popular delicacy within the resort, featuring a variety of fresh hot pot ingredients along with the star ingredient, the "flower crab," or seasonal crabs, paired with the resort's signature delicious broth. While enjoying the hot spring, savoring fresh local ingredients brings an immense sense of happiness. Additionally, the Governor's Set and the Emerald Set offer diverse seafood and Jinshan specialties like sweet potato, which should not be missed. The top floor of the hot spring resort is divided into two sides, featuring separate open-air public bathing areas for men and women. One side is the only place in Taiwan where you can soak while enjoying a view of the sea, while the other side offers a distant view of the peaks and mist of Yangmingshan National Park, making the soaking experience feel refreshingly invigorating.
