Old Roundabout Introduction
Lao Yuan Huan is the cleanest and most organized stall in the Xiaozhuang Market. The second-generation owner, Zhang Weijie, inherited the skills from his mother, Li Xiudan, and introduced a concept of combining traditional European markets with food stalls to Bali. The combination of delicious cuisine and tidy, bright stalls has indeed made it a benchmark of popularity. Various chicken products, chicken rolls, and fried foods sell like hotcakes, among which the chicken rolls are an unforgettable delicacy for the older generation in Bali. The chicken rolls are not only delicious but the quality ingredients combined with marinated meat and vegetables create a rich and fragrant taste that you must try. Additionally, the sugarcane smoked chicken and signature salty crispy chicken are top choices for office workers. The name "Lao Yuan Huan" does not originate from Taipei's roundabout but represents a rather "grand" imagery, indicating that there are many delicacies at the stall. Although the consumer base in Bali is not as large as in downtown Taipei, Boss Zhang is still very dedicated to crafting each dish to perfection. Besides chicken rolls and sugarcane smoked chicken, the fried items are also star delicacies, with seasonal vegetables freshly fried, offering a refreshing crunch without greasiness, complemented by the natural sweetness of the produce. Come and taste for yourself!
