Hung Hsing Chicken City Introduction
Established over thirty years ago, Hongxing Native Chicken City is located at the stone steps entrance of Lingyun Temple on Guanyin Mountain. It retains the most traditional local characteristics, with the hospitable owner, Mr. Lee, preparing the famous mountain chicken dishes that attract guests from afar, especially on weekends. Among these dishes, the bamboo shoot chicken is particularly renowned. It is crafted using green bamboo shoots harvested from Guanyin Mountain between May and October, along with pure spring water from Hardening Ridge, which gives the farm-raised native chickens an added sweetness and fragrance.
