Hung Hsing Chicken City Introduction
Hong Hsing Earth Chicken City, with over thirty years of history, is located at the stone steps entrance of Lingyun Temple in Guanyin Mountain. It retains the most traditional local characteristics, with the hospitable owner, Mr. Li, preparing the famous mountain chicken dishes, welcoming guests from afar on weekends. Among the dishes, the Bamboo Shoots Chicken is the most praised. It uses green bamboo shoots harvested from Guanyin Mountain from May to October, and the pure mountain spring water from the Hard Man Ridge to cook the house-raised earth chickens, adding a hint of sweetness and fragrance.
