Hung Hsing Wu Chicken City Introduction
Hong Hsing Native Chicken City, with over 30 years of history, is located at the stone steps entrance of Lingyun Temple on Guanyin Mountain. It retains the most traditional local characteristics, with the hospitable owner, Mr. Li, cooking the renowned mountain chicken dishes to greet guests who travel from afar on weekends. Among these dishes, the most praised is the bamboo shoot chicken. It uses green bamboo shoots harvested from Guanyin Mountain between May and October, along with pure mountain spring water from Hanjian Ridge, which adds a touch of sweetness and fragrance to the home-raised native chickens.
