Linshaob trail Introduction
The Linshaoh Trail starts at the left side of the entrance to the Guanyin Mountain Ecological Park and ends at the Lingyun Zen Temple's founding courtyard. It is approximately 800 meters long, constructed entirely of steel bridges, providing a smooth and comfortable walking experience. This beautiful and compact trail resembles an aerial corridor weaving through the forest, allowing visitors to gaze up at the treetop canopy and down at the lush, cascading layers of greenery. The abundant fresh greenery immerses people in the forest's phytoncide, inviting leisurely strolls. The first segment of the trail is about 400 meters long and is an accessible pathway elevated enough to offer distant views of the densely packed skyscrapers on the Linkou Plateau. Along the way, the forest is lush with vegetation, featuring plants such as mountain hemp, banyan trees, and the duck's foot tree (Jacaranda), which was historically used for making wooden clogs or lunch boxes, alongside the well-known tung oil tree. During the blooming season, tung flowers fall like snow, creating a romantic scene on the ground. The second segment of the trail is located in a lower area of the forest and requires walking down about two flights of stairs to reach the boardwalk. Here, the dense, vibrant green forest and the swaying branches of the tall trees seem to greet visitors, welcoming each guest with a wave.
