Hong Hsing Native Chicken City, with over thirty years of history, is located at the stone steps entrance of Lingyun Temple in Guanyin Mountain. It retains the most traditional local characteristics, with the warm and hospitable owner, Mr. Lee, preparing the famously delicious mountain chicken dishes to welcome guests traveling from afar on weekends. Among them, the most praised dish is the Bamboo Shoot Chicken, which uses green bamboo shoots harvested from Guanyin Mountain from May to October, and is simmered with pure mountain spring water from Hard Man Ridge, giving the native chickens raised by Hong Hsing an added sweetness and fragrance.
