Ri Hsi Dou Hua Introduction
Rihsi Boba and Tofu Dessert was established around 48 or 49 years ago by Chou Ching-Chi, who laid the foundation by selling boba ice. In fact, Chou Ching-Chi's previous generation was in the boba wholesale business. Chou thought that instead of just selling boba, it would be better to use the available ingredients at home to make boba and tofu dessert. Local residents loved the treats, and pilgrims visiting the Bixuan Temple also came looking for them, as they were delicious and affordable, making it a famous snack in Dongshan.
