Yuli Aiyue Mango Shaved Ice Introduction
About 30 years ago, the origin of Yuqing Aiyue began with a bowl of "burnt grass jelly" started by my aunt. In winter, we sold burnt grass jelly, with more ingredients and larger portions than typical shops, and we cooked everything ourselves, ensuring hygiene and safety. In summer, we added various ingredients to the shaved ice to create a bowl of "Eight Treasures Ice." Since Yujing is abundant in "mangoes," my aunt also tried adding fresh mango chunks on top of the shaved ice, which led to the creation of Yuqing Aiyue's "signature mango ice!" As times change, people’s tastes diversify, prompting an increase in various types of desserts, such as snowflake mango ice and fluffy mango ice.
