Yu-Ching A-Yue Mango Ice Introduction
About 30 years ago, the origins of Yu-Jing A-Yue began with a bowl of "shao xian cao" (burnt grass jelly) started by my aunt. In winter, we sold shao xian cao with more ingredients and portions than regular shops, and it was also home-cooked, ensuring hygiene and safety. In summer, we added various ingredients to the crushed ice, creating a bowl of "Eight Treasures Ice." Since Yu-Jing is famous for its mangoes, my aunt also tried adding fresh mango chunks on top of the crushed ice, which gave rise to Yu-Jing A-Yue's signature "Mango Ice"! As trends change and people's tastes diversify, we continued to enhance our variety of desserts by introducing new flavors like snowflake mango ice and fluffy mango ice.
