Dingkan Q Version Deity Painting Village Introduction

Hean Arts Street is located in Jiasian's Zhushan Lane, just a 10-minute walk from the Jiasian commercial district. The theme is based on the cultural ambiance of the Jiasian area, personifying the three local treasures – taro, bamboo shoots, and green plums – while depicting the daily lives of Jiasian residents playing and participating in tug-of-war, showcasing the human landscape of rural Jiasian in a warm and humorous manner. The local youth from the Dingkan community initiated a community painting project themed around deities. They illustrated deities such as Mazu, Guan Gong, Xuantian Shangdi, Tudigong, Santai Zi, and Yue Lao in a cute style, incorporating contemporary items like mobile phones and scooters interacting with the deities, which evokes smiles and brings the divine closer to the people. The community features over 60 cute deities, reflecting Taiwan's diverse and vibrant religious culture.
