Yoh Chi Bak Nian You Fan Introduction
Established in 1862, Baijian Traditional Oil Rice has been serving the local community in Daxi, Taoyuan with rice-based products. The aim is to provide simple yet genuine dishes that satisfy customers, ensuring they leave with a sense of fulfillment. Initially, the restaurant sold oil rice packed in lotus leaves using a carrying pole, allowing the family to make a living. With successful management, the business shifted to selling meat sticky rice dumplings for convenient and quick meals for travelers. In 1986, the fourth generation took over, focusing on transforming the old shop and creating its own brand, making Baijian Traditional Oil Rice a popular subject for media coverage. Now with over 150 years of history, the goal is to continue for another century. The restaurant plans to keep innovating new products and provide diverse purchasing options so that visitors from different regions can better understand Daxi and Baijian Traditional Oil Rice.
