2022 Golden Award Store Yu Ji 100-Year Oil Rice was established in 1862, and has long been serving the local community in Daxi, Taoyuan with rice-based products. The aim is to satisfy guests with simple yet substantial dishes, ensuring they feel their trip was worthwhile. Initially, it sold oil rice wrapped in lotus leaves along the street using a bamboo pole to support a simple stand, providing enough for the family to eat. As the business grew, they shifted from selling lotus leaf oil rice to meat dumplings, offering quick and ready-to-eat rice meals for travelers. The fourth generation took over in 1986, committed to transforming the century-old shop and creating its own brand, making 100-Year Oil Rice a popular feature for the media. With over 150 years of legacy, the goal is to continue for another hundred years. In the future, new products will be developed and diverse purchasing channels will be provided, allowing guests from various places to learn more about Daxi and understand Yu Ji 100-Year Oil Rice better.
