Lily Studio Introduction
"Baihe Studio" is located in Fengbin Township, Hualien County. The studio's owner, Pan Xiurong, has dedicated over 20 years to the research and creation of leather carving crafts due to her deep interest in the art. "Baihe" is the name given by Pan's sister in her indigenous language, as it sounds similar to "Lily" in English, so the studio is named "Baihe Studio." The leather carving works from the studio include keychains, bracelets, wallets, coin purses, and various bags, showcasing a diverse style. The designs often incorporate patterns and motifs from local indigenous peoples such as the Amis and Kavalan tribes from the East Coast, which are extended and transformed. In recent years, Pan's son has contributed fresh ideas and a spirit of cultural research, designing many innovative patterns for his mother to use as creative material, making the leather carving pieces more lively and creative. Currently, Baihe Studio's works can be seen in local guesthouses in Fengbin, such as Shitiyuan, Huanman, and the Xibulan Visitor Center (New Pacific No. 1) and the Houshan Story House. The studio also offers leather carving DIY experiences, welcoming interested friends not to miss out!
