Feng Nian Ganoderma Mushroom Ecological Farm Introduction
Promoting Puli Leisure Agriculture for Open Tourism Experience the fun of personally picking fresh mushrooms. Feng Nien Farm was established in 1966 and has a long history with a diverse range of industries. It is also a unique temperature-controlled cultivation industry for edible mushroom species, covering the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors in Taiwan. The production of edible mushrooms is not open to the public and remains a mystery; thus, while people can consume mushrooms and see them being cultivated, they cannot witness the entire process of mushroom species cultivation and production. What we aim to achieve is to help everyone understand the manufacturing, cultivation, and growth processes of edible mushroom species, as well as to discover previously unheard-of diverse varieties of mushrooms and the ecological functions and missions of edible fungi. Additionally, visitors can experience the joy of personally picking fresh mushrooms and be involved in the process of producing a bottle of mushroom species from raw materials, witnessing the life cycle of fungi from cultivation management to fruiting. This initiative promotes Feng Nien Farm's industrial tourism and expands the farm's industry into a new domain. For over forty years, Feng Nien Farm has primarily focused on the production and cultivation of edible mushroom species, serving as the upstream farm in the mushroom industry and a raw material supplier for biotechnology companies. The main cultivated medicinal and edible fungi include Ganoderma, Brazilian mushrooms, snow fungus from the Tianshan Mountains, Cordyceps, white elves, lion's mane mushrooms, and various rare mushrooms.
