Fengnian Farm was established in 1966 and has a long history with a diverse range of industries. It is also the only independent temperature-controlled cultivation industry in Taiwan that encompasses the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of edible mushroom cultivation. The production of edible mushrooms is not open to the public and remains a mystery, so while people can eat mushrooms and see how they are grown, they cannot witness the entire process of mushroom strain cultivation and production. What we aim to do is to help everyone understand the process of manufacturing, cultivating, and growing edible mushroom strains, as well as to see diverse varieties of mushrooms that they have never heard of before and understand the ecological functions and tasks of edible fungi. Visitors can also experience the joy of hand-picking fresh mushrooms and can personally make a bottle of mushroom strain from raw materials, witnessing the life cycle of fungi from cultivation to fruiting management. This promotes tourism at Fengnian Farm and expands the farm's industrial landscape into another field. For over forty years, Fengnian Farm has focused on the production and cultivation of edible mushroom strains, making it one of the leading farms in the mushroom industry and a raw material supply farm for biotechnology companies.
