Fengnian Ganoderma Mushroom Eco-Farm Introduction
The Fengnian Farm, established in 1966, promotes Puli's leisure agriculture and opens its doors for tourism, allowing visitors to experience the joy of hand-picking fresh mushrooms. With a long-standing history and a diverse range of industries, it also represents Taiwan's edible mushroom species, covering upstream, midstream, and downstream segments and featuring an independent temperature-controlled cultivation industry. The production of edible mushrooms is not open to the public and remains mysterious; thus, while people may enjoy mushrooms and observe their cultivation, they are unable to see the entire process of mushroom species cultivation and production. What we aim to do is to help everyone understand the manufacturing, cultivation, and growth processes of edible mushroom species, as well as to showcase a variety of mushrooms that visitors may have never heard of, alongside the ecological functions and roles of edible fungi. Guests will also have the chance to experience the fun of hand-picking fresh mushrooms and even create their own bottle of mushroom species from raw materials, witnessing the life cycle of mushrooms from cultivation to production management. This initiative aims to promote tourism at Fengnian Farm and expand the agricultural sector into another realm. For over forty years, Fengnian Farm has been focused on the manufacturing and cultivation of edible mushroom species, making it a leading farm in the mushroom industry and a raw material supplier for biotechnology companies. The main cultivated edible and medicinal fungi include Ganoderma, Brazilian mushrooms, Tremella, Hericium erinaceus, and many exotic varieties.
