Geographical Center Monument of Taiwan Introduction

The Geographical Center Monument of Taiwan was established during the Japanese rule and was moved to the top of Huzishan in 1952. In 1972, the area was transformed into a beautiful park, and the monument was rebuilt again in 1979. President Chiang Ching-kuo once inscribed the four characters "Shanqing Shuixiu" (meaning "Mountains Clear and Waters Exquisite") on it. Climbing the steps behind the monument leads to the summit of Huzishan, where visitors can enjoy a serene and distant view of the surrounding mountains, making it an excellent spot to observe the night scenery of Puli.
