Geographical Center Monument of Taiwan Introduction

The Geographical Center Monument of Taiwan was established during the Japanese colonial period. In 1952, it was relocated to the top of Huzi Mountain, and in 1972, this area was developed into a beautiful park. In 1979, the monument was rebuilt again. President Chiang Ching-kuo has inscribed the words "Shan Qing Shui Xiu" (Mountains Clear, Waters Beautiful) on it. By following the steps behind the monument, one can reach the summit of Huzi Mountain, where the distant mountains can be viewed, providing a sense of tranquility and a great spot for observing the night view of Puli.
