Geographical Center Monument of Taiwan Introduction
The Geographical Center Monument of Taiwan was established during the Japanese colonial period. In 1952, it was moved to the top of Huzhong Mountain, and in 1972, the area was developed into a beautiful park. In 1979, the monument was rebuilt again. Former President Chiang Ching-kuo inscribed the words "Clear Mountains and Beautiful Waters" on it. By following the stairs behind the monument, one can reach the summit of Huzhong Mountain, where the distant mountains can be viewed, offering a sense of tranquility and solitude, making it a great spot for enjoying the night view of Puli.
