Shuili Township Farmers' Association Zhenmei Museum Introduction
Checheng Village in Shui Li Township is the terminal station of the Jiji Line. It still retains the large old factory of Zhen Chang Wood Industry, large lumber storage pools, employee dormitories, and the Checheng village community as well as the Shui Li Creek Valley. During the Japanese occupation and shortly after the retrocession, Checheng was a dream destination for many young people, bustling with merchants at one point, which is why Shui Li is often referred to as "Little Taipei," with the Jiji Branch Line serving as a crucial transportation artery. The "Shui Li Zhen Mei Gallery" is located next to the Checheng Railway Station. Originally an old railway warehouse, it was renovated using cypress wood by the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Administration and is now leased and planned by the Shui Li Township Farmers' Association as a local industry特色農產展售中心. It mainly showcases plums-related products and souvenirs that the Shui Li Township Farmers' Association has been developing for many years, along with unique products that integrate the culture of Shui Li's snake kiln, many of which have won awards in the top 100 fine products of agricultural and fishery associations. These products are distinctive and perfect for collection and sharing. Featured Products: Plum Essence, Enjoy Plum Vinegar, Plum Soy Sauce, Plum Oil Paste, Maji Plums, and Shu Xiang Plums. Introduction to Shu Xiang Plums: Handmade traditional plums with no preservatives added, designed in collaboration with Shui Li's snake kiln pottery. This product represents the colors, aroma, and flavor of Shui Li's plum food, making it a timeless masterpiece cherished by literati and scholars alike.
