Sun Moon Lake Houjian Mountain Trail Introduction
Hou Jianshan is one of the Four Beauties of Sun Moon Lake, with an elevation of 1,008 meters. The entrance is at an elevation of 663 meters at the Nantou Bus Touse station, requiring a vertical ascent of approximately 345 meters. The entire trail is about 6.5 kilometers long, presenting a physical challenge for hikers. There are three main routes to reach the summit, one of which starts from Touse Village in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, at the Nantou Bus Touse station. Along the Route 62 township road, there is a rest pavilion and picnic tables at the summit, offering a panoramic view of Sun Moon Lake, making the scenery exceptionally beautiful.
