Located in Puli, Nantou, 18°C Chocolate Factory is renowned for its low-temperature handmade chocolates. Officially launched for online sales in 2006, Master Mao, the owner of the factory, had over a decade of rich experience in chocolate making before starting the online store. His passion for chocolate was sparked in 1999 when his children expressed their love for it, leading him to study chocolate in Japan. After returning to Taiwan, he continued to experiment with chocolate recipes, initially giving away his handmade chocolates to friends and family. To his surprise, the chocolates became very popular, which led to the establishment of 18°C Chocolate Factory.
