Fuyuan Tea Factory has a history of over 90 years. As early as the Japanese colonial period, the founder began purchasing tea leaves from tea farmers and sold them to refining factories in Dadaocheng for processing, before distributing them worldwide through trading companies or Japanese commercial firms. The founder established the factory in 1949, transforming small-scale production into large-scale production, which continues to operate to this day, witnessing the rise and fall of Taiwanese tea. "Tea" embodies the spirit of the Taiwanese people, and as one traverses the era of southern sugar and northern tea, it encourages reflection on the need to take time to care for local culture and nurture one's inner self. At Fuyuan, visitors can learn about Taiwanese tea, embark on a trip through tea country, and experience locally made "Ruby" black tea crafted from Taiwan Tea No. 18, traditional Oriental beauty tea, and sour lime tea, as well as the unique CTC (cut, tear, curl) black tea that cannot be found elsewhere.
