Yongfang Bakery Introduction
Yongfang Bakery was established by Mr. Tsai Yaonan in 1995. The store usually sells bread, longevity peaches, noodle turtles, and wedding cakes, among others. The signature product of Yongfang Bakery, which is also the best seller, is the Bird Cookie. Due to Mr. Tsai's great-grandfather who made a living selling red turtle cakes on the street, Mr. Tsai learned baking from a young age and has also worked as a hotel chef. Therefore, the production methods of the bakery's products differ from traditional pastry shops. For example, the dough of the Bird Cookie is made using a hot water dough, which allows for a thinner roll and results in a crispier texture after baking. Selected as a "Smiling Shop" by CommonWealth Magazine, Yongfang Bakery has developed six flavors to offer more choices to customers, including red bean, sweet potato, taro, matcha, mung bean paste, and mushroom curry.
