Dafang Food Co., Ltd. (Dafang Tofu) Introduction
The first Taoyuan Top Ten Souvenirs: National Treasure Grade Tofu Master Gift Set (Handmade Black Bean Curd). The famous Dafu Tofu has been included in the third and fourth editions of the Taoyuan Top Ten Souvenirs and is known nationwide. Made from food-grade non-GMO soybeans and crafted entirely by hand, this tofu undergoes at least four rounds of rapid freezing and braising processes, resulting in a firm and delicious texture with a fragrant and chewy mouthfeel, making it one of the most popular souvenirs for tourists. In 2008, it was awarded as a golden store in Taoyuan for "Nostalgic Snacks" and in 2010 for "Dessert Delicacies." The Dafu Happy Peach Blossom Garden Gift Box, recognized in the third and fifth editions of the Taoyuan Top Ten Souvenirs, has been passed down through four generations over a century. The Happy Peach Blossom Garden Gift Set includes: one box of Tung flower egg and green beans, one bottle of Kanjin fermented tofu, and vacuum-packed handmade black bean curd (four small boxes from the National Treasure Grade Tofu Master and two bags of fresh-packed tofu). In 2008, it was recognized as one of Taiwan's top fifteen souvenirs by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and in 2010, it passed the commercial vacuum sterilization test conducted by the Food Industry Research and Development Institute, receiving permission from the Health Authority to be sold at room temperature as vacuum-sealed soybean ready-to-eat food (one of three in Taiwan and the only one in Northern Taiwan).
