Dafang Food Co., Ltd. (Dafang Tofu) Introduction

The first Taoyuan Top Ten Souvenirs features a master gift set of legendary handmade black soybean tofu. The well-known Dah Fang Tofu, recognized in the third and fourth editions of the Taoyuan Top Ten Souvenirs, is made from food-grade non-GMO soybeans, handcrafted, and goes through at least four cycles of rapid freezing and braising. It has a solid taste and a fragrant, chewy texture, making it a favorite souvenir among tourists. In 2008, it received the Taoyuan Golden Award for "Nostalgic Snacks" and in 2010 for "Dessert Cuisine." The Dah Fang Happiness Peach Blossom Garden gift box, recognized in the third and fifth editions of the Taoyuan Top Ten Souvenirs, has a legacy spanning four generations. The contents of the Happiness Peach Blossom Garden gift set include a box of Tung Flower Egg with String Beans, a bottle of Kan-Jin Fermented Tofu, and vacuum-sealed handmade black soybean tofu (four boxes from the legendary tofu master and two packs of fresh tofu). In 2008, it won the Ministry of Economic Affairs' award as one of Taiwan's Top 15 Souvenirs, and in 2010, it passed the vacuum commercial sterilization test by the Food Industry Research and Development Institute, gaining approval from the Department of Health for room temperature sales of vacuum-packed soybean products (one of only three in Taiwan and the only one in Northern Taiwan). The sixth edition of the Taoyuan Top Ten Souvenirs features the Dah Fang Purple Butterfly Gift Box. The seventh and eighth editions highlight the Dah Fang Pottery Seals, with environmentally conscious designs considering the reuse of materials. We first sent the clay for testing to ensure it meets food container standards.
