Jijibanana Jiyuan Fruit Tourism Factory Introduction
To talk about the history of Jiji, we must start with "Jiji Bananas." With its exceptional climate and soil, Jiji bananas are particularly delicious, aromatic, sweet, juicy, and chewy, offering a unique flavor. Taiwan was once known as the "Kingdom of Bananas," and in the early days, bananas were exported in large quantities to Japan, with Jiji bananas holding a significant position. Jiji bananas even satisfied the picky tastes of the Japanese Emperor, being designated as imperial tribute, and those labeled with the character "千" guarantee the quality of Jiji bananas. Introducing the characteristics of Jiji bananas, visiting Jiji is not just about riding the small train and enjoying the mountain town scenery; it is filled with historical tales and was once a glorious paradise for bananas. The Jiji Banana Agricultural Cultural Park is divided into three main thematic areas: the outdoor banana ecological park, which features over 103 varieties of bananas for both ornamental and culinary use. The sunset in the afternoon allows for a distant view of the Jiji Dam, and the setting sun over the Zhuoshui River flowing west, combined with the banana fields, is truly beautiful! The production building is the headquarters of Jiji Yuan, where many delicious products are made, including banana heart chocolate, banana roll pastries, banana dried fruit, and golden banana strips, all made from 100% natural ingredients, tasty and healthy. Inside the Jiji Yuan Agricultural Cultural Park, there are areas for light meals, exhibitions, audiovisual activities, DIY projects, a ball pit area, and an outdoor sandbox area, featuring fun interactive educational displays. There is a children's sandbox and playground, suitable for families to visit together, and the banana ecological education park has over 100 varieties of banana seedlings, making it a lovely paradise for family outings. There are so many fun activities waiting for you to experience!
