The owner was originally a professional soldier working for many years at the military headquarters. Unable to bear to see his elderly parents struggling to run a traditional restaurant in Pingtung in the south, which was being overwhelmed by the rapidly changing trends, he resolutely left the bustling and prosperous Taipei, giving up a coveted military career, and returned to his humble hometown. With a vision in mind, he built his dream estate without relying on professional designers or skilled craftsmen, purely driven by his dreams and his own clumsy hands, using stone and wood to complete everything independently, with the aim of proving that an ordinary life can achieve extraordinary dreams.
