Cold House Flower Introduction
The poetic origin of the place name comes from three petals. Due to the rugged terrain, the military built bunkers on the island. Unfortunately, these were knocked out by water ghosts from across the strait, and when the military abandoned the post, the bunkers were blown up, scattering two petals and leaving only one. There is also a captivating legend about Feng Shui, and the name "Cold House Flower" has often served as an answer to riddles, with the riddle itself being called "Poor Girl," which corresponds perfectly with "Cold House Flower," making it an interesting puzzle that reflects Kinmen's culture and geography. After visiting the Shanhou Folk Culture Village, it is worth turning around to admire this flower blooming on the coast!
