Ruiyou School Introduction

Ruibao School was established in 1934, commissioned by Mr. Chen Ruibao, who developed his career in Singapore, to Mr. Chen Dexing of the same clan to build Ruibao School in Biyang's hometown. The campus covers an area of 20 acres and recruits local children to attend school for free, benefiting the community. The main building of the school is designed in a Western Baroque architectural style, featuring a grand and elaborate façade. The prominent mountain top displays the national flag and the Kuomintang flag, along with clay sculptures of Indian police, ceremonial bands, flowers, and cranes, showcasing great creativity. It is currently operated by the Biyang East Store Community Development Association and is planned as an art and cultural exhibition space. Visitors can also rent bicycles and four-wheeled carts to wander along the paths of the settlement, searching for 10 exquisite murals completed by picture book artist Liu Ruiqi (Wawa) in collaboration with local volunteers and students, enjoying a leisurely time.
