Rui You School Introduction

Ruiyou School was established in 1934 by Mr. Chen Ruiyou after his success in Singapore, entrusting Mr. Chen Dexing from the same clan to build the school in his hometown, Biyuan. The campus covers an area of 20 acres, providing free education to children from surrounding villages, benefiting the local community. The school building features a facade designed in the style of Western Baroque architecture, with a grand and ornate gable. On top of the gable, there are the national flag and the Kuomintang flag, as well as themes of Indian police and music ensembles, along with clay sculptures of flowers, grass, and cranes, showcasing creativity. It is now managed by the Biyuan Dongdian Community Development Association and is planned as a space for artistic and cultural exhibitions. Visitors can also rent bicycles and quadricycles here to roam the village along the paths, searching for 10 exquisite murals created by illustrator Liu Ruiqi (Wawa) in collaboration with local volunteers and students, enjoying leisurely moments.
