Chen Zheng'en Honorary Hall Introduction
The Chen Zhen Enrong Archway, located in front of the Qingshan Temple in Yangzhai, Kinmen, was built to honor the father (Chen Zhen) for the merits of his son (Chen Jian), as bestowed by the royal decree. It is a designated county-level historical site and is constructed from granite. In November 1988, it was announced as a third-class historical site. The archway features a four-pillar, three-bay, three-story design in the soaring style, with the main material being granite, while the "Enrong" plaque, brackets, and other decorations are made of blue stone. Each of the four square pillars is adorned with dual horizontal beams, with the upper beams having a drum-shaped cross-section, and the "Enrong" plaque embedded within. It is the only remaining stone archway from the Ming Dynasty in the Kinmen area.
