Chen Zhen-En Memorial Hall Introduction
Located in front of the right side of the Yangdik Huishan Temple in Kinmen, this structure was built to honor the father (Chen Zhen) with the son (Chen Jian) as a distinguished figure, granted by the royal decree. The Chen Zhen Enrong Archway is designated as a county-level historic site and is constructed from granite. It was officially announced as a third-level historic monument in November 1988. The Chen Zhen Enrong Archway is a four-pillar three-bay three-story archway of the Chongtian style, primarily made of granite, while the Enrong plaque, bird braces, and some decorations are made from blue stone. Each of the four square pillars is paired with double-layered horizontal cross beams, with the upper beam featuring a drum-shaped cross-section and embedding the "Enrong" plaque. It is the only remaining Ming Dynasty stone archway in the Kinmen area.
