Chen Zhen-en Rong Fang Introduction
Located in front of the right side of the Yangzhai Huishan Temple in Kinmen, the Chen Zhen Enrong Archway was built to honor the father (Chen Zhen) who was elevated by his son (Chen Jian) and was granted a royal decree. It is designated as a county-level historic site and is a granite archway. In November 1988, it was officially announced as a third-grade historic site. The Chen Zhen Enrong Archway is a four-pillar, three-span, three-story, soaring stone archway, primarily made of granite, while the "Enrong" plaque, the adornments, and some decorations are made of green stone. Each of the four square columns is adorned with double-layered horizontal crossbeams, with the upper beams having a drum-shaped cross-section, housing the "Enrong" plaque within. This archway is the only remaining stone archway from the Ming Dynasty in the Kinmen area.
