Chaiwei Dianzun Water Gate Park Introduction
The Chaiwei Dianzun Watergate is located in the Ba’ao Village of Jiaoxi Township. In addition to regulating irrigation water for the agricultural system, the watergate features a 315-meter-long concrete revetment around the water management facilities. The simple Chai Dianzun Watergate Park has a wooden hexagonal pavilion, with inscriptions on the columns reading: "Be a good person, stay upright and at peace" and "Do good deeds, heaven knows and earth witnesses." The park also includes a set of marble tables and chairs, a statue of a white goose, and a 162-meter-long walking path, adorned with 2,698 blooming flower plants of Sheen Dandy and 780 square meters of planted faux money grass, among various other plants. The picturesque landscape of rural hills is a leisure spot for visitors. The park features a statue of a mother goose leading seven goslings, which is very captivating! Their poses, whether with heads up or down, appear lifelike, causing a moment of confusion as to whether they are real geese. Adjacent to the watergate park is the head of White Goose Mountain, which is home to four air raid shelters from the Japanese colonial period, now long abandoned.
