Chaiwei Danzhen Water Gate Park Introduction
The Chaiwei Tianzi Water Gate is located in the Baiwa Village of Jiaoxi Township. This water gate not only regulates irrigation water for the agricultural system but also features a 315-meter-long concrete stone revetment surrounding it. The simple Chaitian Water Gate Park has a wooden six-sided pavilion, with pillars on either side inscribed with the phrases: "Be a good person, and your heart will be at peace" and "Doing good deeds is known by heaven and earth." The park also includes a set of marble tables and chairs, a statue of a white goose, and a 162-meter-long walkway paved with bricks, alongside the planting of 2,698 fairy flowers and 780 square meters covered with ornamental grasses, among various other plants. The picturesque rural scenery makes it a popular spot for leisure activities. The park features a statue of a mother goose leading seven goslings, which is very captivating! They strike poses that look both realistic and lifelike, causing some to mistakenly believe they are living geese. Adjacent to the water gate park is the head area of Mt. Baiwa, where remnants of air raid shelters from the Japanese occupation era can still be seen, although they have been abandoned for many years. The beautiful scenery of the Chaiwei Tianzi Water Gate Park makes it an appealing destination for relaxation and recreational activities. The pillars of the pavilion are inscribed with the sayings: "Be a good person, and your heart will be at peace" and "Doing good deeds is known by heaven and earth." The Chaiwei Tianzi Water Gate Park is equipped to regulate irrigation water for the agricultural system.
