Chaiwei Dianzhen Water Gate Park Introduction
The Chaiwei Irrigation Canal Sluice Gate is located in Ba-e Village, Jiaoxi Township. In addition to regulating irrigation water for the agricultural system, the sluice gate area features a 315-meter concrete retaining wall. The simple Chaiwei Irrigation Sluice Gate Park has a wooden hexagonal pavilion, where the columns bear the inscriptions: "Be a good person, have a clear conscience" and "Doing good deeds is known by heaven and earth." The park is also equipped with a set of marble tables and chairs, a statue of a white goose, and a 162-meter-long brick walking path, along with 2,698 planted celosia flowers and 780 square meters of planted false grass and various other flowers and trees. The picturesque rural landscape is a popular spot for recreational activities. Inside the park, there is a statue of a mother goose leading seven goslings, which is very attractive! Their poses, whether with heads held high or lowered, appear so lifelike that one might mistake them for a living flock of geese. Next to the sluice gate park is the goose head part of Ba-e Mountain, where remnants of air-raid shelters from the Japanese era can be found, now long abandoned. The beautiful scenery of Chaiwei Irrigation Sluice Gate Park makes it a popular destination for leisure activities. The columns of the pavilion also bear the sayings: "Be a good person, have a clear conscience" and "Doing good deeds is known by heaven and earth." The Chaiwei Irrigation Sluice Gate is capable of regulating irrigation water for the agricultural system.
