Chaiwei Dianzun Watergate Park Introduction
The Chaiwei Tianzu Water Gate is located in the Bai'e Village of Jiaoxi Township. In addition to regulating irrigation water for agricultural lands, the Chaiwei Tianzu Water Gate features a 315-meter long concrete riprap. The modest Chai Tianzu Water Gate Park has a wooden hexagonal gazebo, with columns inscribed with the phrases: "Be a good person, and your heart will be at peace" and "Doing good deeds is known to heaven and earth." The park also includes a set of marble tables and chairs, a statue of a white goose, a 162-meter long pathway, and the planting of 2,698 Canna indica plants along with 780 square meters of Zoysia grass, among various other flowers and plants. The picturesque rural landscape provides a recreational spot for the public. Within the park is a sculpture of a mother goose leading seven goslings, which is very eye-catching! Their postures, some with heads held high and others bowed down, look almost life-like, misleading visitors into thinking they are real geese. Adjacent to the water gate park is the head of White Goose Mountain, which has remnants of air raid shelters from the Japanese colonial era, now long abandoned. The beautiful scenery of the Chaiwei Tianzu Water Gate Park makes it a perfect setting for leisure activities. The columns of the gazebo bear the inscriptions: "Be a good person, and your heart will be at peace" and "Doing good deeds is known to heaven and earth." The Chaiwei Tianzu Water Gate can regulate irrigation water for agricultural lands.
