Linmei Golden Date Cultural Center Introduction
Linmei Village in Jiaoxi Township is known as the "Village of Kumquat," where every farmer is deeply rooted in kumquat culture. The "kumquat," also referred to as "Fortunella" or "kumquat," is a fruit with a golden yellow exterior and a sweet and sour interior. Due to its golden hue, it is considered a symbol of good fortune. This facility is themed around kumquats and was established with the guidance of the Council of Agriculture and local agricultural associations. Tourists or schools can make reservations for visits, where they can gain a lot of knowledge about kumquats through explanations from the owner or staff. The first floor is a sales area, open for on-site visitors to taste and sample products, and of course, they can purchase souvenirs as well. The second floor serves as an exhibition area, featuring images and text explanations that help travelers and children understand the production process of kumquats and the different care methods for each season. When visiting, don't forget to take home a package of "Kumquat Throat Candy" with the Linmei logo. It's suitable for all ages and is one of the well-known specialties of Jiaoxi, providing soothing effects for the throat and leaving a memorable taste.
