Yuqing Palace Introduction
Jiaoxi Jiulong Mountain Yuching Temple features a magnificent and grand structure, dedicated to the Jade Emperor. It was established in the 65th year of the Republic of China. The first floor serves as a ceremonial hall, the second floor is a meditation room, the third floor is the ancestral hall, and the fourth floor is dedicated to the Jade Emperor. The temple has a thriving incense offering, and is widely revered by devotees from all over the country. Jiulong Mountain is surrounded by nine ridges that resemble nine dragons coiling around it, creating a majestic atmosphere. The temple faces the water with the beautiful Bai'e Lake right below; the lake is as clear as a mirror, and the auspicious clouds are right before your eyes. On either side of the temple, there are four ridges, creating an extraordinary presence as if the temple is overseeing the world, providing expansive views of the Lanyang Plain with its fertile fields and a distant sight of the East Coast with its vast azure waves. Yuching Temple offers brunch options for devotees to choose from and has rooms available for rest. Please make reservations for both rooms and meals via email.
